Exciting News Update
Hope you all are doing well. I am avoiding the bad cold/flu bug that everyone in my world seems to have. But, so far, so good.
My husband, who is sick as a dog, asked me how I was managing to avoid the Creeping Crud. I told him it was because I have a pure heart and think happy little thoughts! After he got through gagging, I told him just pure luck so far.
Well, I want to bring you up to date on my adventures. Becky, my niece and publisher ( who does beautiful work and she can be reached at becky@
yourspotlighonyourbusiness) plus Krista, my granddaughter and virtual assistant ( who is also a creative artist and she can be reached Karizma1256@gmail.com) both worked their little fingers to the bone to get my book ready by January 31st.
They managed to get the work all done and combined with the rest of my family-daughter, son-in-law, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, grandson, niece and great-niece , tossed me a dynamite book launch and75th birthday party. We had balloons everywhere, all sorts of great birthday signs, wonderful food such as pizza, chicken, salads, veggies, and-best of all-a carrot cake cupcake just for me and it had two big candles on it that told I was 75!. All I know is, I am one very lucky person to have such a wonderfully supportive family and group of friends.
I thought this was pretty cool since Becky and her daughter came in from Goodyear Arizona, My daughter and son-in-law, plus our friend, LaFaye, came in from Cathedral City, California, and then there were my neighbors who live here at the apartment complex where I am. All in all, we had about twenty in attendance. I live In Rancho Cucamonga, California so it was cool to have folks travel for me.
We had a fun time, managed to sell some books and started my literary career!
Thanks to all who came and for all the love.
