Social and Emotional:

  • Knows familiar faces and begins to know if someone is a stranger
  • Probably will not be affectionate with people he does not know

Speech and Language:

  • Cooing has turned to babbling
  • Responds to sounds by making sounds
  • Makes sounds to express joy and displeasure

Fine Motor:

  • Pays attention to size and shape of objects
